Themes and Colour Schemes
Everybody is different and everybody has a different idea for their wedding day. If you are looking for inspiration here are some ideas for wedding themes.
Colours
Of course you may just want to go for a traditional white wedding but Mia Sirena doesn't do traditional so here are some colour schemes to give you ideas. Black and white is a great combination and you can add another colour to this, either a bright colour or a pastel shade. Gold and silver can be added to decorate your colour scheme. You need to think about things like flowers, bridesmaids dresses and the decor at your reception. Do you want them all the exact same colour or would you like different shades of the same colour. Why not try contrasting colours? Pale green and pink go together surprisingliy well or jazz it up with brown and hot pink!.
Themes
Casino
Where: A hotel or function room.Colors: Black and White.
Food: How about giving chocolate coins out after the meal.
Entertainment: Hire a casino for the day - They set up a casino at your venue and you play with fun money - prizes can be given to winners. Hire a magician for the children or an Elvis Impersonator.
Decor: Anything glitzy.
Dress: James Bondesque tuxes for the men, slinky dresses for the women.
Invite: Vegas Nights is the perfect invite for a casino wedding your name in lights.
Honeymoon: Las Vegas.
Anything else? How about having a seating chart in the style of a blackjack table? Mia sirena can provide one for you. Also hire a sports car to get you to the reception arrive in style!
Fairytale
Where: A castle.Colours: Rich reds and golds or pale pink for a real fairytale.
Food: An Olde English Banquet or a hog roast followed by a wedding cake in the shape of a castle.
Entertainment: A string quartet.
Decor: Fairy lights.
Dress: Perhaps kilts for the men long flowing dresses for the women.
Invite: Damask in black for a classy castle wedding or in pink for the fairytale.
Honeymoon: Disneyland.
Anything else? Hire a horse drawn carriage to take you to the church
Japanese
Where: Outside in the spring.Colours: Pink and black or red and black.
Food: Sushi or noodles.
Entertainment: Karaoke.
Decor: Fans and spring flowers.
Dress: A kimono style dress, flowers in your hair, perhaps a fan
Invite: Cherryblossom
Honeymoon:Japan
Anything else?
Buy bonsai trees as favours or as table centrepieces.
Vintage
Where: An English garden.Colours: pastel colours.
Food: Tea and cup cakes.
Entertainment:Dig out some old records.
Decor: Look around charity shops for old tea sets. Nothing has to match. Alternitavely hire the lot at A Vintage Event.
Dress:Try vintage dress shops for the perfect outfit ask older relatives if they still have their wedding dresses.

Honeymoon: English Countryside
Anything else?
Hire a vintage car
Gothic
Where: A castle. Even better a castle at night.Colours: Black and red.
Food: Try a vegetarian buffet or go the other way and serve juicy steak.
Entertainment:Find out about local bands, Try pubs and clubs that play goth music.
Decor: Black flowers, pewter goblets.
Dress: Wear black.
Invite: Gothic Orchid or Gothic Butterfly.
Honeymoon: Transylvania.
Anything else? Get a wedding ring specially made in a gothic style.
Beach
Where: Go abroad somewhere sunny.Colours: Sandy colours, sky blue and yellow.
Food: Bbq or outside buffet.
Entertainment: steel drum band.
Decor: The sun, the sea what else do you need?
Dress: Sun dresses, shorts, bikinis.
Invite: My Siren is bright and colourful like a sunny day.
Honeymoon: The Carribean.
Anything else? Dont forget to send save the date cards out early so people can save up and book time off work if they are going to have to travel abroad.
Forest Fairies
Where: A woodland clearing.Colours: Greens and neutrals.
Food: A picnic.
Entertainment: Dancing on the grass.
Decor: Nature.
Dress: A woodland flower garland. A Bluebell bouquet. Go barefoot.
Invite: Pink daisies
Honeymoon: Somewhere outdoors - Hike the Grand canyon, Trek the coast in Italy or kick back in India
